Admission Calendar
Admissions to FITFD programs are announced only once in a complete academic year for Fall session from July to September, followed by the commencement of classes in October.

Eligibility for Undergraduate Program
Candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary School Examination, Intermediate or its equivalent degree from any recognized institution, with a minimum of C Grade (50% marks) or A-Levels with at least 2 A’s and 5 O’s, are eligible to apply for Bachelor of Hons. in Fashion Design, Bachelor of Hons. in Art & Design and BBA

Eligibility for Graduate Program
Candidates who have passed the Bachelor Degree (in any subject) or its equivalent from any recognized institution, with a minimum of C Grade (50 % marks) are eligible to apply for MBA

Applying for Admission
Prospectus are available from the Admission Office of Faisalabad Institute of Textile & Fashion Design; New Civil Lines, Faisalabad, on payment of Rs. 500/-. Candidates should apply through “Application form” available with the Prospectus. Out-station candidates can avail Institute Prospectus along with Application Form through courier by sending a bank-draft or postal-order of Rs. 550/- payable to “Faisalabad Institute of Textile & Fashion Design”. International students should send the appropriate number of International reply coupons to receive the Prospectus by airmail. Application forms along with attested photocopies of all the required documents mentioned in the “Check List” on the back of form, should be submitted to Admission Office in person or through couriers. Documents in support of additional qualification obtained (if any) should also be attached.

Entry Test Examination and Interview
Students are selected strictly on the basis of academic merit criterion and entry test examination. All tests and interviews are conducted in the English language. Paper for drawing and writing is supplied by the Institute. Candidates are required to bring their own drawing boards, pens, pencils, erasers and other materials, for the examination.

  • Candidates wishing to join the Department of Fashion Design or Art & Design are required to pass an aptitude test comprising English, Logic and Drawing.
  • Candidates wishing to join the Department of Management Sciences are required to pass an examination of SAT pattern for BBA and G-MAT Pattern for MBA.

Successful candidate of the entry test examination are invited to the Institute for individual interview. List of successful candidates are displayed in the college premises and through the college website. Admission letters are delivered to candidates on their postal addresses along with the schedules of their fee and classes. Evaluation of successful candidates is done on the following basis,

Entry Test : 40 %
Academics: 60 %

Registration
First Year students are required to register at the beginning of the academic year. Failure to complete registration formalities at the appropriate time, including payment of tuition fee and charges, may lead to cancellation of the Institute enrollment. At registration all students are issued a Student Identity card. The classes are commenced as per schedule provided at the time of registration.

Rule for the Admission of Result Awaiting Students
Result awaiting student is required to submit his/ her result sheet/ certificate within one month after the start of first semester. Student will submit an undertaking at the time of admission. Failure to provide result will automatically withdraw student from the Institute role.

Transfer from another University
Students from other recognized and reputed institutions, colleges or universities may be allowed to transfer to an equivalent program at FITFD. Credits/ courses with a minimum of C Grade will only be exempted whose contents are equivalent to that of FITFD courses. Institute will issue transcripts only for those courses which are completed at the FITFD. FITFD reserves the right to accept or refuse the grant of transfer on the basis of student’s record.
