GC University, Faisalabad has covered many milestones since its inception in 2002. Having passed through a transition period - moving from building of programmes to their consolidation, with an aim of attaining excellence in the academic offerings, preparing its graduates to meet the challenges of the highly competitive practical life, the university is moving forward in enhancing its institutional capacities and competencies (human and material reserves) in order to provide all possibilities to its 13000 enrolled students.
The University is providing educational and research opportunities in 27 disciplines through its Bachelor and Master level programmes which are in addition to M.Phil. and Ph.D degree programmes which have been initiated in a number of discipline in Science and Humanities, Oriental Learning, Languages, Management Science and Law. Attainment of research culture is evident from the advancement of Honors degree courses to Doctorate level. The students at all levels of the University are provided equal opportunity to interact with the leading personalities/ scholars from within and outside the country through seminars and workshops organized frequently by different departments. The logistic support of well equipped laboratories, rich libraries, furnished class rooms and peaceful/conducive atmosphere help the students to elevate themselves in the field of learning, research and development. The academic pursuit of the faculty and efforts of the students are being recognized and appreciated in the highly competitive professional market and our graduates are surpassing their counter parts.
